Great spot to meet up for coffee or to grab lunch. Prices are a little bit on the higher side but the quality and quality of the food is out of this world. My family and I came here and we all got different sandwiches they were all to die for. We will definitely be back! 10/10 service and food!

From top to bottom, it truly does not get better than this spot. Every employee seems genuinely happy to be at work, and is overly friendly and helpful. Truly, sincerely pleasant. All of them. The coffee drinks are unreal. I’ve yet to try a bad one. Today’s find: an iced Cinnabon latte (it’s the best cinnamon roll you’ve ever tasted, but in a cup). Mine was tweaked to be decaf, as I’m expecting. Give it a try. The food… to me, this is where they steal the show. YES, the sandwiches are pricier than a fast food joint — but they are THE BEST you’ll ever eat, and they are MASSIVE. You can tell every ingredient is of the highest, gourmet quality, and every bite is dripping with flavor. Today’s eat: The Carson Robert. This sandwich will easily be two lunches; I’ve only pictured half of this massive sandwich. They truly have something for everyone and every age (my one year old is a big fan of the grilled cheese!), the service is fast, and it’s the best lunch or brunch you’ll find on the island if you love a top-of-the-line sandwich, soup, salad, pastry, dessert or coffee. Support local, and thank me later!

So glad this place came to the island!! Everything I've had has been very delicious. A bit pricey. Sandwiches are about twenty bucks, but then they are huge and really the size of 2 sandwiches! Coffee is good, treats are good. Clean, fast, friendly, good vibe. Menu changes. My ONLY complaint is that they close at 3pm. I would've loved evening options, maybe live music once in a while, maybe wine with my girls without feeling like I'm going to a bar?

We love the East End cafe! They are so friendly and polite. The prices seem a little high but their portions are massive. The sandwiches are very big. We normally share a soup and sandwich. We tried the grilled cinnamon roll and I'm hooked.

Obsessed with East End Cafe! The cozy vibe and friendly team make you feel like you’ve found your new favorite spot. We got the East River Sunrise waffle, Sweepstakes Ron, Brown Sugar Dirt Chi, Mocha Latte, and cherry juices — every single thing was AMAZING! The menu is creative, the flavors are on point, and the energy is just good vibes only. This place is a total gem — go support them, they deserve all the success!

I've ordered carry out from this cafe at least 3 times in the past 6 months, I don't live on Grosse Ile but this place probably has the highest quality of sandwiches I've eaten outside of Zingerman's in Ann Arbor. When I've been in to pick up the food I enjoy the cute, cozy decor and the clean and modern style. I wish I could eat here more often but it's a little out of my way. Regardless, the food here is excellent and definitely worth a 5 star review. I will be back in the future to sample the whole menu most likely!
